Shut the screen door on the back porch and throw another log on the fire of the barbecue. Then go inside, pull out your favorite Deltaz album and throw it on the turntable. Heavy blues, roots rock, classic country and the blood harmony of two brothers will pour out of your stereo.

Brothers John (Vocals, Harmonica, Drums) and Ted Siegel (Vocals, Guitar) spend many of their days perfecting new records at a vintage mobile Airstream studio behind their residence just outside of Nashville Tennessee. In 2018 the brothers home and studio was destroyed in a California forest fire prompting them to move out to Nashville. Before relocating they had become mainstays at a Southern Californian institution, The Old Place, regularly performing for patrons at the ever-packed restaurant in the Santa Monica Mountains where the boys grew up.

The Downstairs Dads are a high energy cover band with a deep set list that will have you dancing across the decades. From Motown to Modern Country, from New Wave to classic rock, the Dads deliver a lively show.

Born from a circle of Dads (and one mom) all parenting similar aged kids, the Dads started as fun way for the group to make music on the weekends. They’ve taken the jams out of the basement and now play bars, festivals, brewhouses and private parties across central Indiana.
